Complete regulation

1) For all activities of A.S.D. GAIA, including but not limited to river and lake activities with canoes, kayaks, rafts, hydrospeed, tubing, boats, etc.; hiking, adventure camps with orienteering activities, archery, suspended paths, laser games* etc., the Association is exempt from any and all liability towards participants for damage to persons and/or property. The exemption also includes the Association’s liability for acts of unrelated third parties and/or other participants. In any case, no responsibility can be attributed to the Association for events occurring outside the activities specifically organized by the Association itself. If A.S.D. GAIA, for any reason, should suspend, postpone, or cancel the scheduled activities, no damage or compensation may be claimed by the participants except for the refund of the fee, proportionally to the period of activity not provided. Pursuant to Art.1341 of the Civil Code, it is declared that the clauses limiting the Association’s liability, including for the conduct of third parties or other participants, and the clauses exempting the Association from psychophysical assessments are specifically approved.

2) The participants declare: to be aware that the aforementioned activities and any other activities organized by the Association are particular sports* and for this reason are not recommended for those suffering from conditions that may worsen in case of strong emotions and/or contact with water and cold (such as asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, allergies), and to have not eaten food or consumed alcohol in the 3 hours prior to the activity. The participants acknowledge that it is their sole responsibility to ascertain any psychophysical contraindications to the practice of water sports as well as the other promotional activities mentioned above*. The acceptance of the regulations therefore implies that the applicant, who assumes the related responsibility, has carried out the necessary checks and is psychophysically fit for the amateur practice of said disciplines. The same applies to the suitability and reliability of their own equipment and personal gear. Only individuals who know how to swim are allowed to participate in water activities*. In all cases, minors will not be allowed to participate in the activities unless at least one responsible adult signs the participation request. It is also declared to be aware of the risks associated with water activities (swift currents, capsizing of vessels, punctures, etc.), those resulting from accidental injuries in suspended path practices, and those related to the specific environmental conditions where all other activities take place (rough/slippery terrain, trees/branches/thorns, heat stroke, allergies, ticks, insect bites, etc.*).

3) All participants are required to adhere to the instructions and directives of the instructors and guides. The guide, or their delegate, reserves the right to interrupt or partially limit the activity, both for the entire group and for individual participants, if safety factors necessitate it. For everyone, it is mandatory to wear a protective helmet, a life jacket, and any necessary thermal gear during descents and other activities. Everyone is obliged to observe this regulation, as well as any provisions that the Association may deem necessary in specific cases. Individuals who violate these provisions will be personally held responsible for their actions. A.S.D. GAIA reserves the right to remove from the activities those who, in contravention of this regulation, may disturb the regular course of the activities or may pose a risk to themselves or other participants.

4) CONFIDENTIALITY GUARANTEE: The processing of personal data concerning you is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 679 of 04.05.2016 on the protection of personal data.
