Orienteering at Lake Fiastra

Put yourself to the test with orienteering: an exciting challenge to test your navigation skills in unfamiliar terrain.

Are you ready to challenge yourself and your friends? With an introductory lesson on the use of the orienteering map and compass, you will learn the basics of navigation and will be ready to set off in search of the control points scattered throughout the area surrounding Lake Fiastra.

Each control point, called a ‘lantern’, is marked with a number and a unique code to write onto your map. Upon arrival, the correct correspondence of the codes will be verified, while the time taken will be recorded to determine the winner.
